Macaroni and Cheese Cups

Macaroni and cheese cups perfect for a football party!

It’s football season which means it’s game time!  I love football season for many reasons but one of the biggest is that watching the games is something I actually really enjoy doing with my husband.  We are big Dallas Cowboys fans and on game days I don’t like to be stuck in the kitchen so making munchies ahead of time is key.

Our kids both love macaroni and cheese so I came up with these Macaroni and Cheese Cups which they loved!  It was really easy and took less than 10 minutes.

Ingredients:
Package of wonton sheets
Your favorite macaroni and cheese  (ours is Trader Joe’s)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Place one wonton sheet in each cavity of a muffin tin.  Bake for about 4 minutes, or until the edges are a little golden.  While those are in the oven prepare your macaroni and cheese. Once your wonton cups are done scoop a heaping spoonful of macaroni into your baked cups and pop back in the oven for about 3 minutes. You don’t want to cook it, you just want the macaroni to get a little crispy.  Plate and serve immediately.

Optional: You can garnish with bacon bits, shredded cheese, ham, whatever you like to dress it up.

That’s it!  Enjoy!

What are wonton sheets and where to get them?

I found the wonton sheets in the produce section at Walmart. They are little pastry squares that can be used in so many ways because they really don't have any flavor. You can fill them with anything yummy and bake them up!
