Recipe for Baked S’mores

Yesterday my friend Samantha of Evie and Mallow posted a picture of her scrumptious baked s’mores. The kingdom went wild and demanded the recipe! I think they were about to storm her castle!  She quickly spilled her secrets and all was right again.  Lucky for us she agreed to let me share it with all of you.  These look so good!

What you need:

One bag of regular sized marshmallows
2 – 4 cups of chocolate (Any kind you like. Left over Easter chocolate is great too!)
Box of graham crackers
Baking sheet (cookie sheet) with sides – make sure it will fit in the refrigerator or freezer
*optional: add a few tablespoons of peanut butter to the melted chocolate if you like

Directions:

Line a baking sheet (cookie sheet with sides) with aluminum foil and then place a layer of graham crackers down.  Cut large marshmallows in half and place across the layer of graham crackers. Place in the oven on 350 degrees for approximately 5-7 minutes or until the marshmallows become slightly browned and puffy.

While the graham crackers and marshmallows are in the oven melt chocolate in a heat proof bowl (stirring at 30 second intervals) in the microwave. Do this until all chocolate is melted. Once your graham crackers and marshmallows are done pour warm melted chocolate over baked marshmallows and spread to cover.  Place a layer of graham crackers over the chocolate layer and put in the refrigerator or freezer.

Once chocolate has hardened, cut into sandwiches.  Because the marshmallows are baked, they stay SUPER gooey, but the chocolate is hard, so it’s not messy!

Samantha makes amazing treats so please check her out on Facebook, Instagram, or via email.  She lives in Canada but ships all over (weather permitting).

Thanks for sharing your Recipe for Baked S’mores, Sam!
